Today is National Women's Equality Day. As you know, Beauty Entourage is always seeking ways to support women of all ages to break boundaries and rise above any stereotypes of what women should do. We want to take a moment to recognize this day and make each and every day a testament to women's equality. 

Did you know?

There are 9.1 million women owned business in the United States.

Great.. but wait..

Only 6% of the nation's workforce are employed by these businesses.

Why?

We need support. Women in business and technology often do not receive the same financial opportunities or grand scale recognition required to supplement funding. 

What can we do?

Get active! The biggest impact we have is to influence girls to pursue their dreams and seek out careers which bring them to the forefront of technology in business. We are still a long way away from equality but every generation raised with the understanding girls truly can do anything boys can wont take no for an answer when it comes to transforming their dream into reality. 

A great organization we work with is the DigiGirlz Youth Program by Microsoft which promotes coding and technology related opportunities for young girls interested in computers and programming. By providing workshops for these girls they are shown positive examples of women in business, women inventors, and women who own their own business and have gained success from their passion. Don't forget to vote!

How could you forget? Women fought for 72 to years for the right to vote.This is an extremely important time for our voices to be heard by getting out there and making it known these are our bodies, our dreams, our businesses, our families, our well-being. We worked hard for this right - don't let it go to waste. We can only make a change if we work together!
