Craniofacial Team at Connecticut Children's Medical Center (CCMC) was missing something and needed its shine! Glendalee Morales - Medical Assistant/ Medical Receptionist, Monique France -Team Coordinator from CCMC, and Elena-Lee Ritoli - Orthodontist came together to plan this Beyond The Face: A Tribute to Craniofacial Team Patients at Connecticut Children's Medical Center photo shoot. Brittany one of our BE artist has brought Beauty Entourage and Connecticut Children's Medical Center together through her personal connection to Monique on the CCMC team. We were thrille to be asked to participate!
December 3 2016, hair & make up artists from Beauty Entourage - Ashley Stone and Cathy Ruggierro gave their time to beautify 19 Craniofacial Team patients and 2 moms who were born with the same facial difference as their child. They were selected to be photographed by Patrick Kiniry. There were several collaborations that joined in to make this photo shoot come to life. The project was able to also exemplify from all ages. The photo shoot consisted of patients from birth, teens, young adults and even a doctor!

The children have truly made an impact on Ashley with their amazing spirit. Beauty Entourage thanks Glendalee and Monique for the opportunity to be a part of the amazing event.
Later into a brand new year, February 8th 2017 - Beauty Entourage team were invited to Beyond The Face: A Tribute to Craniofacial Team Patients at Connecticut Children's Medical Center to unveil portraits of 21 beautiful craniofacial models and honor our volunteers who made this event possible .

July is National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness Month - Connecticut Children's Medical Center will be premiering "Beyond the Face"on July 22, 2017 from 3 to 6:30pm at the Rose's Berry Farm in South Glastonbury, Connecticut.
