This week's theme is all about AIRBRUSH! We get asked all the time what airbrush make up is and what the benefits are compared to traditional make up. As a part of our artist education, we held a refresher class run by Kyle and Britt B for some of our artists to go over the best methods of an airbrush application.

What is airbrush?

Airbrush make up is a technique that sprays foundation onto the face using the fine mist of an airbrush machine. It is considered "Always flawless, never fake". A make up professional will prep the skin with any required toner, moisturizer, color correctors and concealers before going over the skin with the airbrush application. This will allow for buildable coverage with a natural finish.

Why choose airbrush?

 A major benefit of airbrush make up is its long-lasting qualities, typically a 16 hour + wear. The formula is sweat proof and water proof which makes it a very popular option for summer events and a night of dancing. The application blurs imperfections for a natural finish that does not give any flashback in photography. The best part is airbrush works on ANY skin type whether you have oil, dry, or mature skin. It is a lightweight finish which leaves skin feeling great even with make up on!
